Panthers drop SCAC-opener at Colorado College, 1-5

COLORADO SPRINGS, Co. - The Birmingham-Southern (1-7, 0-1) Men's Soccer team dropped its first conference game, 1-5, on the road at Colorado College (6-1, 1-0) on Friday. 

The sole Panther goal on the day came in the 78^th-minute from Joe Burrage off an assist from Nick Pihakis.  The Tigers offense was just too much to overcome.  The loss drops BSC to 1-8 on the year, but the Panthers have another opportunity on Sunday to try to break their current losing-streak. 

They will travel to Texas on Sunday afternoon to take on the Austin College Roos in their second conference match-up of the year.  Game-time is scheduled for noon with the women’s game to follow.
