Men’s soccer falls 2-1 at Rhodes
MEMPHIS – The BSC Panthers fell 2-1 in Memphis this afternoon in their second-to-last game of the 2008 season.
Rhodes got a goal in each half, while BSC was only able to come up with one, resulting in the Panthers’ 16th loss of the season. Andrew Shelton scored in the 63rd-minute to avoid the shut-out.
The Lynx registered 14 shots to BSC’s 9 with Rhodes getting two more shots-on-goal (7-5) than the Panthers.
BSC will play the final game of the 2008 schedule in Conway, Ark. on Sunday when they face the Hendrix College Warriors at noon.
