Preston’s son, Sean Goldfarb, a graduating senior from Birmingham-Southern and midfielder on the Men’s Soccer Team, has been appointed as the Assistant Coach for the USA Juniors Boys’ Team. Preston states, “This is our first time coaching together. The greatest thing in life was to coach my son in college, but to be able to coach alongside him is the ultimate!”
Preston is thrilled with the prospect of coaching the Juniors Boys’ Soccer Team. When asked how it feels being appointed to represent the USA Maccabiah Team, he replied, “I feel elated! It’s possibly the highest honor received in any sport to be able to coach a U.S. Team in international competition.” Preston and Sean both share the same goals for their team: to be competitive, work hard, and to bring home the gold medal.
