Men's Soccer falls to No. 6 Washington University, 5-0

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team fell on the road, Friday, losing to No. 6 Washington University (Mo.) in St. Louis, 5-0.

The Panthers fall to 3-2 on the season with the loss.

The Bears out-shot BSC, 17-4 overall and 9-0 on-goal; senior Tyler Evans led the Panthers with two shots. Sophomores Sveinbo Grimsson and Alex Levinson split time in goal for BSC and recorded two saves each.

The Bears scored twice in the first half, first in the 12th minute and then again in the 32nd minute. The second half saw three more Washington University goals in the 51st, 64th, and 85th minutes.

BSC stays in St. Louis for its game on Sunday, facing Westminster College at noon.
