Men's Soccer plays to scoreless draw with Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team continued Southern Athletic Association play this evening on the road, playing to a 0-0 tie with Sewanee in Sewanee, Tenn.

The Panthers move to 4-4-2 overall and remain unbeaten in conference play at 1-0-1, while the Tigers move to 3-7-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the SAA.

Both teams had exactly six shots apiece in the first half, seven shots apiece in the second half, and one shot in each overtime period. Shots-on-goal were even at five for each team as well.

Sophomore Tobias Winter led the Panthers with five shots. Junior goalkeeper Alex Levinson recorded five saves.

The one category which wasn't even between the teams was corner kicks; Sewanee had 10 opportunities to BSC's two.

The Panthers stay on the road to face Centre College on Sunday at 2 p.m. Eastern in Danville, Ky.
