Winter named SAA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga.—Junior Tobias Winter has been named the Southern Athletic Association Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played Oct. 1-7, the conference office announced today.

Winter, a forward from Giessen, Germany, had an assist and a game-winning goal this week in helping the Panthers to a 1-0-1 record. He assisted the first goal of the game to tie it up against Centre on Sunday, then scored the game-winning goal to defeat the Colonels 2-1 in Danville.

The Panthers are back at home this Wednesday, facing Covenant College at 7 p.m. at BSC Soccer Park.
