Men's Soccer ties with Berry, 0-0, in seventh overtime game of 2012

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team played to a scoreless tie with Berry College, Friday evening at BSC Soccer Park, in the Panthers' seventh overtime game and fifth tie this season.

BSC moves to 5-4-5 overall and remains unbeaten in Southern Athletic Association action at 2-0-3, while the Vikings move to 10-3-1 overall and 3-1-1 in the SAA.

The Panthers recorded 20 shots to Berry's 18, led by freshman Haraldur Birgisson with five. Senior goalkeeper Sveinbo Grimsson played all 110 minutes in goal and had eight saves.

BSC is at home again on Sunday, taking on Oglethorpe at 2:30 p.m.
