Deveikis, Evans, and Winter named CoSIDA Academic All-District

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team landed three players on the 2013 Capital One Academic All‐District ® Team, it was announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Seniors Tobias Winter and Jeremy Evans and junior Ryan Deveikis were all named to the team, being recognized for their effort both on the field and in the classroom.

Kimbell, a forward from Vestavia Hills, Ala., holds a 3.94 grade point average and is majoring in English. She has recorded three goals and two assists for eight points so far this season. Winter, a forward from Giessen, Germany, has a 3.89 GPA in business administration and leads the team with nine goals and five assists for 23 points. Evans, a defender from Panama City, Fla., is studying pre-med and has a 3.94 GPA, and has scored one goal and one assist this year, and Deveikis, a defender from Marietta, Ga., has a 3.92 GPA in mathematics/business administration.
