Men's Soccer heads to Arkansas for SAA Championship

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team is on its way to Conway, Arkansas, for this weekend's Southern Athletic Association Championship, hosted by Hendrix College.

The fifth-seeded Panthers will face fourth-seeded Centre at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Warrior Field. The regular-season meeting between the teams resulted in a 1-0 Centre win in Birmingham.

BSC is 9-7-1 overall heading into the tournament, and put together a 3-4 SAA record this season. The Colonels are 8-5-3 overall and 3-3-1 in league play.

With a win on Friday, the Panthers will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, facing the winner of the game between No. 1 Millsaps and No. 8 Hendrix at noon.
