BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Five Birmingham-Southern men's soccer players have earned post-season honors from the Southern Athletic Association, the league office announced today.

Junior defender Josh Wild was named Second-Team All-Conference, while four Panthers were named to the Honorable Mention squad: junior goalkeeper Marvin Castellanos, sophomore defender Tylan Jones, junior midfielder Dallas Coyne, and junior forward Spencer Nichols.

Wild and Jones helped to anchor a BSC defense that held its opponents to 17 goals in 18 contests. Castellanos ranked fourth in the SAA in GAA (1.09) and seventh in saves (53), Coyne was one of four players to lead the SAA with four game-winning goals, and Nichols was 14th in the SAA with 11 points.

BSC went 11-5-2 this past season, which was Head Coach Preston Goldfarb's 33rd and final year at the helm after starting the program in 1983.
