Men’s Soccer Drops Heartbreaker in Double Overtime

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Millsaps College Saturday night in a thriller as the Majors scored 30 seconds into the second overtime to secure the win and second place in the Southern Athletic Association.  BSC concludes its regular season at 9-5-1 overall, 3-3-1 in conference.

 

Patrick Erickson (Washington, D.C./St. Stephens & St. Agnes School) led with a team-high two shots, all on goal.

 

Galen Curry (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) spent the full 100:30 in goal.  He finished with a match-high five saves.

 

The Panthers now await their seeding for the SAA Tournament.
