BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team moved to 5-1 on the season today with a 9-0 win against Washington College at Samford University's indoor courts.
In doubles play, #Michael Locandro# and #John Crawford Freeman# won 8-6, #Faris Pacha# and #Matt Mabry# won 8-4, and #John Zukley# and #Will Boucek# won 9-7.
In singles, in order of position, Locandro won 6-2, 6-2, Freeman won 6-2, 5-7, 10-6, Pacha won 6-4, 6-1, Mabry won 6-2, 6-1, Zukley won 4-6, 6-1, 10-5, and Pearlman won 7-5, 7-5.
The Panther men and women are at home again this Sunday, March 1, taking on Mississippi College at 1 p.m. at BSC Tennis Complex. The match originally scheduled for tomorrow against Oglethorpe in Atlanta has been postponed to March 13 due to the probability of inclement weather in Atlanta on Saturday.
