Men's Tennis downs Covenant, Huntingdon

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
The BSC men's tennis team picked up two wins over the weekend, defeating Covenant College, 8-1, and Huntingdon College, 9-0, Saturday at the BSC Tennis Complex.

The Panthers are now 5-4 on the season.

Against Covenant, BSC won all three doubles points, and five of six singles points. Against Huntingdon, the Panthers won at every position.

In singles play, seniors J.C. Freeman and Michael Locandro lead the team now with records of 5-1 and 4-3, respectively, while sophomore Hanlon Walsh is 4-4 on the season. In doubles, freshmen Reed Pilling and Sawyer Voges lead with a 5-4 record.

The Panthers are on the road next week for Spring Break, traveling to Orlando, Fla., to face Wayne State University, UW La Crosse, and Campbellsville University.
