MONTGOMERY, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team picked up a road win today in Montgomery, defeating Huntingdon 8-1.
John Zukley won at the top singles spot, 7-5, 6-2, and Sawyer Voges won at number two singles, 6-1, 6-1. Christian Matthews won at the third position, 6-4, 6-4, Hanlon Walsh won at the four spot, 6-0, 6-0, and Tony DaMaia won in the sixth spot, 6-1, 6-2.
The Panthers swept doubles action, as Will Boucek and Reed Pilling won at the number one spot, 8-4, Voges and Zukley won at two, also 8-4, and Will Freeman and Matthews won in the third spot, 8-1.
BSC stays on the road tomorrow, traveling further south to Mobile to face Spring Hill College at 9 a.m.
