Men's Tennis loses in SAA Quarterfinals to Rhodes, 7-2

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.--The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team lost in the Southern Athletic Association Championship first round to Rhodes, 7-2, this morning at Old Fort Park in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The sixth-seeded Panthers fall to 6-7, while third-seeded Rhodes moves to 12-6. BSC will face seventh-seeded Berry College tomorrow at 9 a.m.

BSC was victorious at one doubles, as senior Sawyer Voges and sophomore Brian Brandt won 8-6, and four singles, where freshman Patrick Hire won 6-4, 6-1. Hire is 9-3 on the year in singles play.
