BSC Falls to NAIA Martin Methodist

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team fell 8-1 to NAIA opponent Martin Methodist College Friday afternoon at the Ann Dielen Tennis Complex.

 

Ethan Gibson (Huntsville, Ala./Covenant Christian) and Alex Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) at No. 3 doubles pulled out the Panthers lone win.  They defeated their opponents handily 8-1.   Gibson went on to force a tiebreak at No. 4 singles before falling 6-4, 7-6.

 

BSC hits the road next, opening Southern Athletic Association play at Oglethorpe University.  Match time is set for 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 30.
