Willett wins Berry Viking Open, Williamson places fourth
Sophomore Robert Willett picked up his first collegiate cross country individual title today at the Viking Open, hosted by Berry College in Rome, Ga. Senior Mary Elaine Williamson finished first for the BSC women and fourth overall.

Cross Country concludes successful regular season
With its regular season concluded, but still ineligible for the SCAC championships, the Birmingham-Southern cross country team has had several performances this season that would have landed some of its athletes among the top runners in the conference.

Williamson wins Sewanee Twilight Invitational, Willett places second
Senior Mary Elaine Williamson won the women’s portion of the Tiger Twilight Cross Country Invitational this weekend with a 6K time of 23:27.85, while sophomore Robert Willett placed second on the men’s side with an 8K time of 26:47.44.

Men's, Women's Cross Country open season at Berry Invitational
The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's cross country teams opened their 2010 slates today at the Berry Invitational. The BSC men finished fifth, and the women placed sixth.
