Men's Cross Country Competes at Montevallo Race

MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's cross country team raced at the 2019 Montevallo Falcon Classic on Saturday.

BSC finished in 17th place at the 8k event with a team average time of 31:51.68.

BSC was led by sophomore Beck Wilkes (Winfield, Ala./Winfield HS). Wilkes finished the race in 28:40.19.

The other four Panthers competing were Tony Parisi, Raleigh Schmidt (Madison, Ala./James Clemens HS), Griffin Riner (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS) and Carl Albright (Mountain Brook, Ala./Mountain Brook HS).

Birmingham-Southern will race again on Saturday, Sept. 28 when the team travels to Huntsville, Ala., for the UAH Chargers Cross Country Open.
