Softball wins two extra-inning games against Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—In two pitchers duels, the Birmingham-Southern softball team took two games from Rhodes today, both in extra innings, winning 2-0 and 3-0 on the road.

The Panthers move to 17-5 overall and 5-1 in the SCAC with the wins.

Both of BSC's runs in the top of the eighth inning of game one were scored as a result of a Rhodes error, bringing senior Beth Lefler and junior Brittany Berkopec across the plate. The Lynx were unable to score in the bottom of the eighth, giving BSC the 2-0 win.
