Bethany Fronk leading the nation in ERA

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Freshman pitcher Bethany Fronk is not only leading the team and the conference, but is ranked first in the nation in earned run average.

The right-hander from Clay, Ala., holds a 0.42 ERA, ahead of No. 3 Eastern Connecticut State's Molly Rathbun with 0.47. Fronk is also ranked second in the nation in saves with six.
