Softball splits with Berry to open final SAA series
ROME, Ga.—Ford Field was the stage Saturday afternoon for a conference faceoff with the regular season softball crown on the line. Separated by one game in the win column, the Birmingham-Southern Panthers and Berry Vikings split the opening doubleheader, with the Panthers taking game one 4-0 and the Vikings winning game two 2-1.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Playing at home for the last time this season, the Birmingham-Southern softball team split with in-state non-conference rival Huntingdon, losing 1-0 in the first game before winning 9-0, Wednesday afternoon at BSC Softball Park.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—In the final home conference series on the schedule, the Birmingham-Southern softball team split the final games of the series against Hendrix, winning 9-1 and losing 9-7, Sunday afternoon at BSC Softball Park after winning both games on Saturday.

Harkins' no-hitter helps BSC take two games from Hendrix
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Propelled by a pair of dominant pitching performances, including a no-hitter from freshman Taylor Harkins, and powered by an almost perfect day at the dish from sophomore Maddie Ridgway, the Birmingham-Southern softball team claimed the first two games of the Southern Athletic Association series against Hendrix, 3-1 and 6-0, Saturday afternoon at BSC Softball Park.

Softball completes four-game sweep of Sewanee
SEWANEE, Tenn.—A pair of five-inning victories sealed a weekend sweep of a conference series against Sewanee for the Birmingham-Southern softball team. The convincing wins, 20-2 and 14-0, at Tiger Field improved the Panthers' conference win total to a Southern Athletic Association-best 14 wins to only two losses. Overall, BSC is 17-13. Sewanee drops to 3-19 on the season and 0-14 in the SAA.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern softball team split at home today with Rhodes to win the Southern Athletic Association series against the Lynx, three games to one. BSC won the first game today 5-2, but lost the nightcap 8-7 after Rhodes scored three in the top of the seventh inning.
