BSC Swimming & Diving splits against Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Birmingham-Southern swimming & diving teams competed against Rhodes College today in Memphis, Tenn., with the men winning 127-94 but the women losing to a deep Rhodes squad 144-113.

On the men's side, freshman Duncan Bonney won the 100-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly, and 50-yard freestyle, and freshman Drew Priede won the 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard butterfly, and 200-yard backstroke.

For the women, freshman Hannah Busk won the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes and the 200-yard individual medley. Freshman Lauren Kinsey won the 200-yard backstroke, 500-yard freestyle, and placed second in the 200-yard freestyle. Freshman Molly Waddell also won the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly.

The Panthers are in action next weekend at the Berry Classic in Rome, Ga.
