Men No. 21, Women Receiving Votes in CSCAA Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Birmingham-Southern swimming and diving teams were both recognized by the nation's coaches in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division III preseason poll, released Wednesday.

After ending last season outside the top 25 but receiving votes, the BSC men's swimming and diving team opens the 2018-19 campaign at No. 21 in the national poll with 53 points.

The women's team received votes in the national poll.

The CSCAA also released preseason regional rankings. Both the men and women rank at No. 7 in the West-Midwest-South Region to start the year.

Birmingham-Southern faces SCAD and Loyola of New Orleans in its next meet at the Birmingham Crossplex on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m.
