Men No. 21, Women Receiving Votes in Latest CSCAA Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming and diving team was ranked in the top 25 teams in the country by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), the organization announced Wednesday.

The Panther men, fresh off a second place finish at the Wabash Invitational, moved into the No. 21 spot of the CSCAA/TYR coaches poll after being unranked when the last rankings came out. The No. 21 ranking matches BSC's best ranking of the year when the Panthers were No. 21 in the initial preseason poll.

The BSC women's swimming and diving squad, coming off a win at the Wabash Invitational, is unranked in the top 25 but are receiving votes.

Both the men and women are ranked regionally. In the West/Midwest/South region, the Panther men sit in sixth while the women are ranked ninth.

Birmingham-Southern's next meet will be in 2019 when the Panthers travel to the Berry College Invite on Jan. 11-12.
