Jenna Petrocchi was hired as the assistant swimming and diving coach in July 2013.
Primarily working with the sprinters, Petrocchi has coached multiple swimmers to SAA individual championships, three team championships and three team runner-up finishes. She established the dry land strength training program for both the men’s and women’s teams, helping swimmers break individual and relay records each year.
Petrocchi has had five All-Americans at the NCAA championships in the past three years of appearances on the men’s side. She is also the recruit weekend coordinator.
Petrocchi came to the Hilltop after a one-year stint as assistant coach at Lincoln North Star High School in Lincoln, Neb. During that time, she was also assistant coach for the Lincoln Select Club Team.
Petrocchi, whose maiden name is Stroud, is a 2010 graduate of the University of Nebraska where she was a four-year letterwinner in swimming & diving. She served as graduate assistant for the Cornhuskers from 2011-13 while working toward her Master's degree.
