Women's Indoor Track & Field ranked 22nd in the nation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's indoor track & field team has entered the USTFCCCA Top 25 this week at 22nd in the nation.

The team posted strong performances at this past weekend's Vulcan Invitational. Sophomore Tiarra Goode now ranks fifth in the nation in the 60-meter hurdles and seventh in the nation in the 60-meter dash.

"I am very proud of the work that our women's team is putting in on a daily basis," Head Coach Kenneth Cox said. "They are determined to push each other in the classroom and on the track, and I am excited about the future of our program. We have a long way to go before we reach our goals, but we are confident that we will get there if we remain focused."

The Panthers are off this weekend but travel to Sewanee, Tenn., next weekend for the Sewanee Indoor Invitational.
