SEWANEE, Tenn. – Birmingham-Southern posted four event wins and saw a school record fall Saturday at the Sewanee Indoor Track and Field Invitational. Jordan Frazier clocked an 8.27 to finish third in the 55-meter hurdles, setting set a new BSC 55-meter hurdle record clocking 8.27.
"I am so proud of all of our athletes that competed today! We came together and fought hard from beginning to end," BSC Head Coach Kenneth Cox said. "This was a great way to end of our January period and transition into the final month of the regular season for indoor. We are improving all around each week and I am excited about where we are as a family!"
Tiarra Goode highlighted the Panther women, claiming first in the 55-meter dash with 7.28 before running an 8.44 to win the 55-meter hurdles.
Cody Mann reached a height of 1.85 tying for second in the high jump and placed fourth in the long jump with a distance of 6.42. Colin Perry claimed second with a height of 3.80 meters in the pole vault.
Birmingham-Southern returns to competition in the Samford Multi and Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex on Saturday.
