Four individual titles for BSC after day one of SAA Track and Field Championship

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Birmingham-Southern track and field teams are both in third place, and four individuals won conference titles today on day one of the 2015 Southern Athletic Association Championship, hosted by Rhodes in Memphis, Tenn.

Sophomore Michael Snow won two individual titles, placing first in the hammer throw (48.09m) and shot put (14.61m), while sophomore Christopher Roberts won the men's 10K with a time of 32:23.90. On the women's side, freshman Earen Robinson won the hammer throw with a distance of 44.03 meters.

Action continues tomorrow in the final day of the championship meet, with the first events beginning at 9 a.m. and the last event - the men's 4x400-meter relay - starting at 4:10 p.m.
