ATLANTA, Ga. – Both the Birmingham-Southern men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed this weekend at the Emory Invitational. The men finished ninth out of 33 teams, while the women placed 27th out of 35.
Michael Snow (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS) was the men's top finisher. He placed second in the shot put with a distance of 14.45m. Fellow thrower Kameren Morgan (Bowie, Md./St. Alban's School for Boys) placed third in the hammer throw at 50m. And Chris Roberts (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS) finished fourth in the 10K with a time of 32:40.
Lauren Krzstowczyl (Nashville, Tenn./Independence HS) finished second in the 1500 meters for the women in a time of 5:22. Morgan Reynolds (Indian Springs, Ala./The Westminster School at Oak Mountain) also had a great finish in the 10K. She placed fifth with a time of 39:49.
The Panthers remain on the road for their next meet. They will head to the Falcon Classic March 24-25.
