BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After a stellar weekend at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Kameren Morgan (Bowie, Md./St. Alban's School for Boys) and Jamal Watkins (Hampton, Ga./Dodge City CC) were named U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Americans.
Morgan placed third overall in the hammer throw to earn all-american honors. It was his first trip to the national championships. He threw a personal record 58.04m, beating his previous PR by 1.12m.
Watkins earned two all-american honors in the 100 and 200. His time of 10.34 to win the 100 was a personal record. He also went on to finish eighth in the 200.
