The BSC men are 13-2 overall and 5-2 in the conference, leading the Eastern Division of the SCAC standings. Sophomore Jasen Jonus leads with 13.6 points per game, followed closely by senior Aaron Parr with 13.3 points a game. Parr also leads with 2.7 assists a game, while senior Roger Williams leads with 4.6 rebounds a contest. Jonus leads the conference with a .456 three-point field goal percentage and is ranked third with 3.1 three-pointers a game.
The Panther women stand at 7-8 on the season and 2-5 in the conference after dropping their last five straight games. Freshman Alex Adams leads with 11.7 points and 5.9 rebounds a game, and junior Katelyn Wilson is averaging 10.2 points a game. Sophomore Sam Davidson leads with 2.5 assists a contest.
The Hendrix men are 4-9 overall and 1-6 in the SCAC, while the Warrior women stand at 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the league. The Millsaps men hold a record of 7-8 overall and 3-4 in the conference, and the women are winless at 0-16 and 0-7.
Friday night’s women’s game will be “Black Out Cancer” night in Bill Battle Coliseum to benefit the American Cancer Society. At halftime, fans will be asked to stand together and text “HOPE” to 20222 to donate $5.00 to the American Cancer Society. Also, the 1990 NAIA National Championship team will be honored at halftime of Sunday’s men’s game, commemorating the 20th anniversary of BSC’s first-ever national title.
