Panther women at home against Huntingdon this Sunday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –
The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team returns to action at home this Sunday, Dec. 13, taking on Huntingdon College at 2 p.m. in Bill Battle Coliseum.

The Panthers are 5-2 on the season after notching a big win against then-20th-ranked DePauw University this past Sunday. Freshman forward Alex Adams leads the team averaging 11.6 points and 7.0 rebounds a game. Sophomore Sam Davidson leads with 2.7 assists per game, and is ranked first in the conference with a perfect 16-of-16 showing at the free throw line.

Huntingdon is 1-5 entering Sunday's game, led by Lori Bonds with 13.5 points a game, and Chelsie Kilpatrick with 8.0 rebounds a game.

Sunday's game will be the last home game for BSC until Jan. 22. After Sunday, the Panthers are off for the holidays until Dec. 29 when they travel to Atlanta to take on Emory.
