BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's basketball teams are at home this weekend in 6 p.m. doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.
BSC alumni who attend the games and identify themselves as BSC graduates at the concession stand will receive a free hot dog and drink.
The Panthers will face Southwestern University on Friday and Trinity University on Saturday.
The BSC women stand at 12-6 on the season (7-2 in the SCAC), led by senior Katelyn Wilson averaging 9.3 points per game and sophomore Alex Adams with 9.1 points per game. Adams also leads with 7.2 rebounds a contest, and junior Kristian Moody leads with 2.7 assists per game.
The men's team holds a 14-1 record (8-1 in the SCAC) going into the weekend, and are riding a nine-game winning streak as well as a 25-game home win streak dating back to the end of the 2008-09 season. Junior Jasen Jonus leads with 14.7 points per game, sophomore Zac Richards leads with 5.4 rebounds a game, and sophomore Blaise White leads with 2.7 assists a game.
Admission to games is $5.00 for adults, while kids under 18 get in free. BSC students and staff are also admitted free with college ID.
