Late Rally Downs Panthers at DePauw

GREENCASTLE, Ind. –  The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team battled hard at DePauw University Friday night before falling 54-43 on day one of the DePauw Tournament. 

 

The Panthers led after three quarters, but DePauw's offense put up a staggering 23 points in the fourth quarter to earn the comeback win.

 

Jameice Holmes (Nashville, Tenn./University School of Nashville) had a game-high 11 points.  Elizabeth Philpot (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) finished with a team-best six rebounds

 

The Panthers continue play at the DePauw Tournament tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 18 against either Rose-Hulman or Texas-Dallas.
