BSC Falls 62-56 to Berry College

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team fell 62-56 Friday night after Berry College completed its fourth quarter comeback.  BSC (9-8) moved to 3-3 against Southern Athletic Association opponents with the loss.

 

Christian McGowan (Birmingham, Ala./Oak Mountain HS) led the Panthers with 14 points.  Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) finished with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.  And Elizabeth Philpot (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. 

 

BSC remains at home for the next contest.  They host Oglethorpe University on Sunday, Jan. 21 in a doubleheader with the men's team.  The women tipoff at 1 p.m.
