Comeback Falls Short on Road for Panthers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team's  comeback fell short Sunday afternoon as Rhodes College used a big fourth quarter to secure its 58-47 win.  BSC moved to 10-14 overall and 4-9 against Southern Athletic Association opponents with the loss.

Kaitlin Hogan (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) led the Panthers with a team-high 14 points.  Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius X HS) also finished in double-figures with 11 points of her own, respectively.

BSC concludes regular season play on the road at Millsaps College.  Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17.
