    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Southern Athletic Association announced its 2019 Spring Academic Honor Roll and Birmingham-Southern Athletics had 128 student-athletes recognized.  To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade point average or higher at the end of the semester.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team put two Panthers on Southern Athletic Association All-Conference squads.  Headlining the group was Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS), who was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Year and earned first-team all-conference honors.

    JACKSON, Miss. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team fell 63-43 to Rhodes College in the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association tournament Friday afternoon.  BSC (9-17) had the lead at the break, but a big second half from the Lynx pushed them into the semis.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team erased a 16 point fourth quarter deficit to comeback against Southern Athletic Association regular season champions Millsaps College Saturday.  The Panthers (9-16, 6-8 SAA) pulled within two with under a minute to play, but eventually fell 69-64 in their last home game of the season.

    JACKSON, Miss. – Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball succumbed to a late rally from Howard Payne Sunday afternoon to fall 57-55 in the final day of the Millsaps Thanksgiving Tournament.  BSC (1-4) led by as many as 15 points in the third quarter.
