ONEONTA, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team finished eighth at the 2011 Samford Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 1,022, led by freshman Ellen Chun with a score of 241.

Samford won the overall team title with a score of 907, while Troy's Liz Balkcom won the individual title with a 219.

Chun placed 21st overall, followed by senior Ashley Lovell with 250, freshman Kaleigh Toole with 260, junior Michelle Morris with 271, and freshman Rachelle Struthers with 288.
