BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern golfers Jennifer Commander and Kaleigh Toole were named 2011 All-American Scholars by the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) and recently received their awards.
A total of 576 women's collegiate golfers from all divisions were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Commander is a senior English and Spanish major from Auburn, Ala., and Toole is a sophomore business administration major from Chattanooga, Tenn.
