Chun, Panthers finish second at Chick-fil-A Invitational

ROME, Ga.—Sophomore Ellen Chun shot a two-round score of 156 to place second at the Chick-fil-A Invitational, hosted by Berry College at Stonbridge Golf Course in Rome, Ga.

As a team, the Panthers also placed second with a team total of 654.

Shorter University won the overall title with a score of 629, and Shorter's Lisa Persson was the individual medalist after carding a 146.

Sophomore Kaleigh Toole finished second for BSC and 11th overall with a 164, followed by senior Jennifer Commander at 13th with 165, sophomore Rachelle Struthers at 22nd with 169, and sophomore Katie Skeeles at 48th with 185.

The Panthers return to Birmingham this weekend to host the 'Southern Shootout, Sunday and Monday at Highland Park Golf Course.
