Women's Golf moves to 14th in Golf World/NGCA Coaches' Poll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team moved to 14th in the first spring Golf World/NGCA Coaches' Poll, released today.

The Panthers received 223 points, nine points behind No. 13 Mary Hardin-Baylor and 33 points ahead of No. 15 Wartburg. Methodist University stayed at No. 1, getting 18 of the 21 available first-place votes and 521 points, 15 points ahead of second-place Washington University out of St. Louis, who received the other three first-place votes.

BSC is next in action at the Jekyll Island Invitational at Jekyll Island, Ga., a tournament that annually features many of the top teams in the nation, March 16-18.
