No. 16 Women's Golf places seventh at Montevallo Intercollegiate
MONTEVALLO, Ala.—The No. 16 Birmingham-Southern women's golf team finished seventh at the Montevallo Intercollegiate this past weekend.
The Panthers carded a two-round score of 651, 10 strokes behind Montevallo. Lander University won the tournament with a score of 610, while Columbus State was second with 614 and Shorter was third with 626.
Junior Kaleigh Toole led the Panthers and placed 15th with a score of 160, followed by sophomore Jesse Lawley at 19th with 161, freshman Sarah Dolmovich at 23rd with 162, freshman Wallis Fairvalley at 34th with 168, and senior Michelle Morris at 39th with 173. Junior Ellen Chun played as an individual and shot 164 to place 29th.
The Panthers' next tournament is at home on Oct. 7 and 8 as BSC hosts the 'Southern Shootout at Highland Park Golf Course in Birmingham.
