Women's Golf moves to sixth in GolfStat national rankings

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team is ranked sixth in the country by GolfStat.com in this week's NCAA Division III rankings.

The Panthers moved from ninth to sixth this week. Defending national champion Methodist University remains atop the rankings, followed by Centre College, Schreiner University, Washington-St. Louis, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, and BSC.

Freshman Sarah Dolmovich is also ranked ninth in the nation with an average round score of 76.83, and the BSC freshman class as a whole is ranked fourth in GolfStat's Freshman Class Impact rankings and has the lowest combined scoring average in the country for freshmen.

The Panthers wrap up their fall slate beginning this weekend at the Golfweek Division III Preview at Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Fla.
