Women's Golf results from Golfweek DIII Fall Preview

SANDESTIN, Fla.—The 14th-ranked Birmingham-Southern women's golf team finished 13th at the Golfweek Division III Fall Preview this week at Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Fla.

The Panthers carded a three-round total of 988, two strokes behind No. 12 Illinois Wesleyan. No. 2 Methodist was the tournament winner with a total of 904, followed by No. 5 Washington (Mo.) with 910 and No. 23 Rhodes with 934. No. 3 UT Tyler was fourth with 937, No. 1 Mary Hardin-Baylor was fifth with 938, and No. 22 Trinity was sixth with 943. Other ranked opponents included No. 8 Centre, who placed ninth with 967 and No. 21 Schreiner at 10th with 980.

Sophomore Sarah Dolmovich was BSC's top finisher with a total of 240 (80-77-83), followed by senior Ellen Chun with 244 (83-81-80), senior Kaleigh Toole with 245 (84-80-81), and sophomore Wallis Fairvalley with 259 (81-96-82).

WashU's Connie Zhou was the individual medalist, shooting 219 (76-72-71).

The Panthers have concluded their fall schedule and will resume play in February, hosting the 2014 Ann Rhoads Invitational, Feb. 23-24 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham, Ala.
