Ellen Chun earns First-Team All-Conference honors at SAA Women's Golf Championship

BRASELTON, Ga.—After the conclusion of the 2014 Southern Athletic Association Men's and Women's Golf Championships, hosted by Oglethorpe University at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Braselton, Ga., senior Ellen Chun tied for fifth place to earn First-Team All-SAA honors.

The women's team placed fifth with a three-round total of 1036, while the men's team was sixth in the team standings after carding 915. Chun shot 234 (78-80-76) to lead the Panther women, and the men's top finisher was freshman Jonathan Cook with 226 (80-71-75) who tied for 15th.

Rhodes won the women's crown today with a team total of 947, while Sewanee's Alison Eleey, playing as an individual, won the individual title after shooting 227 (74-78-75). On the men's side, Centre won with an 871 and also had the individual champion in Grant Blevins, who carded 211 (74-68-69).
