Methodist scored two in a row to cut it to 18-5, but Barry responded with another goal for BSC. The Monarchs scored one last time at the 2:58 mark, but Van Voorhis was able to find the net again at the end of the game for a 20-6 BSC victory.
Sophomore goalkeeper Katie Bates played all 60 minutes and made one save. The Panthers out-shot the Monarchs, 40-13, and held the advantage in draw controls, 21-6. BSC also capitalized on two free position shots on goals by Uy and Barry.
Van Voorhis and Barry led with four goals apiece, while Griffin led with nine shots and sophomore Alexis Sweda led with three ground balls. Van Voorhis also won five draw controls.
