Minick, a freshman out of Marietta, Ga., led the Panthers in scoring with 46 goals and 22 assists for 68 total points in 2010. Her offensive skills helped power the Panthers to a 12-3 record in their final season of independent status. She posted an amazing 54-percent shooting percentage on the year, including netting the game winning goal in four of BSC’s 12 wins.
The Panthers’ 12-3 record is the best mark yet for a ‘Southern lacrosse team. They will have the chance next season to compete for the first-ever SCAC women’s lacrosse championship when league play begins next spring.
