Women's Lacrosse loses to Pomona-Pitzer, 17-3

DALLAS, Texas—
The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team lost to Pomona-Pitzer College, 17-3, Sunday in Dallas, Texas. The Panthers fall to 2-1 on the season.

Pomona-Pitzer went up 5-0 to start the game, and led 12-2 at the half before out-scoring BSC 5-1 in the second half. Senior Ashley Johnson, junior Lindsay Griffin, and sophomore Rebecca Klementz each scored single goals for the Panthers. Junior Katie Bates took the loss in goal, recording 13 saves.

BSC is in action in Dallas again on Tuesday against Nazareth College at 1 p.m.
