  • Panther Profile: Jillian Montgomery

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- Just finishing her final year at Birmingham-Southern as a student and an athlete on the women’s lacrosse team, Jillian Montgomery (Newnan Ga./Newnan HS) is on her way to great things. After completing her degree in biology, she plans to attend graduate school and start her career in medicine as a physician’s assistant.
  • Winter And Spring All-Academic Honor Roll Announced

    ATLANTA – The SAA announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2017 spring term and a total of 1,033 student-athletes made the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.
  • Panthers Named to SAA All-Sportsmanship Teams

    ATLANTA – The Southern Athletic Association announced the 2017 Spring Sports All-Sportsmanship Teams and 79 student-athletes among the league’s eight full-time members received recognition. Formed in 2011, the SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play among all competitors.
  • Logan Harris Named Women’s Head Coach

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern College Director of Athletics Kyndall Waters has named Logan Harris the Panthers new head women’s lacrosse coach. Hired as an assistant coach this past fall, Harris will take the helm beginning June 1.

  • Six Named All-Conference for Women’s Lacrosse

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team saw six named to Southern Athletic Association All-Conference teams Tuesday. Natalie Daniel (Ooltewah, Tenn./Baylor School) and Katie Gleeson (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) were voted first-team all-conference by the leagues head coaches.
  • SAA Tournament: Comeback Falls Short, Panthers Downed 16-15

    DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team nearly completed the comeback against Centre College Friday night in the first round of the Southern Athletic Association Tournament. BSC (6-10) fell 16-15 to end their season.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – After finishing 3-4 in conference play, the Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team heads to Centre College as the No. 5 seed for the quarterfinal round of the 2017 Southern Athletic Association Tournament. The Panthers (6-9) are looking for redemption after they fell to the Colonels earlier this season. Game time is set for 6 p.m. ET on Friday, April 21.
  • Late Push Puts Berry Over Panthers in Regular Season Finale

    MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team closed out the regular season on the road against Berry College with an 11-10 loss. The Panthers (6-9, 3-4 SAA) led 10-8 with under 10 minutes to play. Berry was able to put in three unanswered goals across five minutes to earn the comeback win.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team (6-8) trounced Millsaps College Tuesday evening to improve to 3-3 in conference play and move into fourth place in the Southern Athletic Association.
  • DePauw Holds On for 20-13 Win over Panthers

    SEWANEE, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team fought back in the second half, but could not overcome a DePauw’s big first half lead Wednesday afternoon. The Panthers fell 20-13 to move to 5-8 overall.

    ATLANTA - The SAA released the women's lacrosse Players of the Week for matches played March 20 - 26 and Natalie Daniel (Ooltewah, Tenn./Baylor School) of BSC won Offensive Player of the Week while Katherine Tooley of Rhodes earned Defensive Player of the Week.

    SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team scored 15 goals for the fourth time in five games, but it was not enough to overcome a big second half from Southwestern Sunday as the Panthers fell 15-7 at a neutral site.
  • Panthers Hold Off Hendrix in 17-16 Win on Senior Day

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse held on to its halftime lead against Hendrix College on a rainy Saturday evening to win 17-16 on senior day in Krulak Stadium. BSC (5-6) improved to 2-3 in Southern Athletic Association play with the win.

    ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team picked up its first Southern Athletic Association win of the season Saturday with a 19-3 road victory over Oglethorpe University. The Panthers are now 4-5 overall, 1-2 in conference play.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Bridgewater used a big second half to down the Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team 12-7 Friday night in Krulak Stadium. BSC moves to 3-6 overall with the loss.

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team improved to 3-5 on the year after defeating Huntingdon College 19-11 on the road Thursday night. The Panthers outscored Huntingdon 12-5 in the first half to pace the win.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team fell 24-13 at Rhodes Saturday afternoon. The Panthers move to 2-5 overall, 0-3 against Southern Athletic Association opponents.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team picked up a big win Thursday night in Krulak Stadium. The Panthers topped Adrian College 19-10 to halt a four-game skid. BSC (2-4) outshot Adrian in the win.

    SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team fought to erase a first half deficit against Carthage College Sunday afternoon. They put up 10 goals in the second half, but fell 19-16 to move to 1-5 overall.

    DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team is still looking for its first Southern Athletic Association win of the season after falling 15-5 at Centre College Saturday. BSC moved to 1-3 overall with the loss, 0-2 in the SAA. Centre is now 3-0, 2-0 SAA.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse team opened the 2017 season with a 13-6 win over Point University Saturday afternoon. The Panthers are now 1-0 on the year. Point falls to 1-2 with the loss.
