BSC Battles Back Against Carthage, Loses 19-16

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team fought to erase a first half deficit against Carthage College Sunday afternoon.  They put up 10 goals in the second half, but fell 19-16 to move to 1-5 overall.

 

Natalie Daniel (Ooltewah, Tenn./Baylor School) and Katie Gleeson (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) led with a team-high five goals. Gleeson also finished with four assists and picked up a team-best four groundballs.

 

The Panthers finally return home after a three-game road trip. They take on Adrian College at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2.
